Northrop Grumman will be hosting a Fourth of July parade to celebrate of our
beloved Military on Independence Day, in Baltimore MD. This year’s theme is Sharing
Smiles, and Smiles Over Miles will have a float in the parade!

Fayetteville Cares in conjunction with Fort Bragg Family Morale, Welfare, and
Recreation will host the second “Boots & Booties – The World’s Largest Military
Baby Shower” on June 25, 2011 at the Crown Expo Center in Fayetteville North
Carolina. Over 950 pregnant and recently delivered women from Fort Bragg, Pope
Field, as well as National Guard and Reserve units will receive a package filled
with gifts and goodies, including a free Smiles Over Miles account card.

Smiles Over Miles was a Hole Sponsor at the 2011 USO of North Carolina Charlotte Center “Tee Off For the Troops” golf tournament on June 20. Hundreds of golfers participated in the scramble that took place at Providence Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The original date was supposed to be in late March, but after heavy rain it had to be rescheduled. It was a day full of food, fun, golf, and proceeds benefitted the local USO’s efforts to support our Military Heroes!

Harris Teeter stores throughout the month of May raised funds for over 14,000
military service members and their families to be able to have free Smiles Over
Miles accounts. The register donation card campaign took place at all Harris Teeter
store locations in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia,

Smiles Over Miles sponsored a hole at the USO of North Carolina Jacksonville
Center’s First Annual Golf Outing on May 14, 2011. All proceeds supported the USO
of North Carolina and included breakfast, lunch, a day of golf, and an awards reception.

The Charlotte Checkers 6th Annual "Salute to Heroes" hockey game took place
on April 9 at Time Warner Arena in Charlotte, NC between the Charlotte Checkers
and the Worcester Sharks. This game helped support local public service personnel
as well as the men and women who protect our freedom. Smiles Over Miles was present
to hand out SOM cards and allowed military personnel to send videos right from the
arena.

Jiffy Lube will be distributing information about the program in the lobbies
of 55 stores and through a variety of initiatives to be introduced throughout the
year. Their sponsorship effort kicked-off at the December 29th Military Bowl which
benefitted the USO.

Privacy Data Systems, leading developer of military-grade privacy software and
a founding organization of The Smiles Over Miles program, today announced a National
Call to Action to reunite military with loved ones via private video, voicemail
or email from anywhere in the world. In partnership with USO Centers across North
Carolina, Illinois, Missouri, and Metropolitan Washington D.C., Privacy Data Systems
aims to distribute 60,000 Smiles Over Miles accounts to service members in 30 days.

they were making a donation of $2,000 and the proceeds from the radiothon, which

to Loved Ones. Bank of America is a sponsor of the program's mission to deliver
Smiles Over Miles accounts to USO of NC centers where service members can retrieve
and access for free their '21st Century Connect Cards'.

members of the Air National Guard 145th Airlift Wing. Each
deploying member of the ANG and their family have or will be receiving a Smiles
